This Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) governs the use of services provided by CallAdoc Telehealth Services LLC (“CallAdoc”, “Company”, “we”, “us”).
By accessing, booking, or using our services, you (“Patient”, “you”) agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.
These services operate in compliance with applicable regulations of the Dubai Health Authority (DHA) and UAE healthcare laws.
1. Acceptance of Terms & Informed Consent
By booking, registering, or attending any consultation, you confirm that:
- You voluntarily consent to receive telehealth medical services
- You understand telehealth involves remote consultation without physical examination
- You acknowledge the clinical limitations of virtual healthcare
- You agree that medical decisions are based on the information you provide, and accuracy is your responsibility
2. Patient Identity Verification (Mandatory)
To ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance:
- You must provide valid identification, including:
- Emirates ID / Passport / National ID
- You must provide:
- Valid mobile number
- Valid email address
CallAdoc reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate services if:
- Identity verification is incomplete
- Information appears inaccurate or suspicious
3. Communication Consent & Digital Platforms
- All communications will be conducted via approved and secure digital platforms
- By using our services, you consent to receive:
- Appointment reminders
- Medical instructions
- Prescriptions and reports (where applicable)
- Follow-up communication
You are responsible for maintaining accurate and secure contact details.
4. Appointment Punctuality & Attendance
- Patients must be available on time or at least 5 minutes before the scheduled consultation
- Late arrival may result in:
- Reduced consultation time, or
- Cancellation without refund
All interactions must remain respectful and professional.
5. Scope of Telehealth Services
Services include:
- General medical consultations
- Chronic disease management
- Nutrition and lifestyle consultations
- Mental health / psychiatric consultations
Limitations
- Telehealth does not replace emergency care
- Physical examination may be required for accurate diagnosis in certain cases
6. Medical Emergencies (Critical Clause)
You acknowledge that CallAdoc is not an emergency service provider.
In case of symptoms such as:
- Chest pain
- Shortness of breath
- Stroke symptoms
- Severe trauma
- Any life-threatening condition
👉 You must immediately contact UAE emergency services (998) or visit the nearest emergency department.
CallAdoc shall not be held liable for any delay or adverse outcome if this instruction is not followed.
7. Sick Leave / Medical Certificates
- Sick leave certificates may be issued at the doctor’s discretion
- Typically limited to 1 day under telehealth, unless clinically justified
- Issuance is not guaranteed and depends on medical assessment
8. Privacy & Confidentiality
- All consultations are conducted with strict confidentiality
- Patient data is handled in accordance with UAE healthcare privacy laws
Patients are responsible for:
- Ensuring a private environment during consultation
- Preventing unauthorized access or interruptions
CallAdoc is not responsible for privacy breaches caused by patient-side factors.
9. Clinical Judgment & Limitations
- Medical advice is based on clinical evaluation and patient-provided information
- Doctors may:
- Refuse prescriptions if not medically indicated
- Refer you for in-person consultation
- Modify or discontinue treatment
10. Prescription & Treatment Disclaimer
- Prescriptions are issued only when medically appropriate
- Non-prescription does not indicate service failure
- Treatment outcomes vary based on:
- Patient condition
- Compliance
- Biological response
11. Payment, Service Activation & Usage
- Payment confirms service activation
- Services once initiated are considered partially or fully consumed
- Refunds are governed strictly by the Refund Policy
12. No Guarantee of Results
- CallAdoc does not guarantee specific outcomes
- Results vary between individuals based on multiple factors
- Dissatisfaction with results does not constitute grounds for refund
13. Prohibited Conduct
You must not:
- Abuse or harass medical staff
- Provide false or misleading information
- Record, store, or distribute consultations without consent
- Misuse prescriptions or medical documentation
Violation may result in immediate termination without refund.
14. Service Suspension & Termination
CallAdoc reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate services if:
- Misuse or abuse is detected
- Medical or legal risks arise
- Identity verification fails
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, CallAdoc shall not be liable for:
- Medical outcomes
- Delays caused by patient non-compliance
- Misuse of medical advice or prescriptions
- Emergency situations not escalated appropriately by the patient
16. Technology & Service Availability
- CallAdoc aims to provide uninterrupted services but does not guarantee:
- Continuous platform availability
- Absence of technical disruptions
17. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, with disputes subject to the jurisdiction of Dubai Courts.
18. Amendments
CallAdoc reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time.
Updated versions will be published and become effective immediately upon posting.
19. Acceptance
By using CallAdoc services, you confirm that you:
- Have read and understood this Agreement
- Agree to be legally bound by its terms
- Provide informed consent for telehealth services
